Just incredible custom hand painted Touraine by Drexel tall boy.
Drexel produced stunning french provincial furniture from the mid 1950s through the mid 1960s called Touraine. Drexel designed both a bedroom set and a dining set in this series. The furniture was inspired by the curvy lines classically found in Louis XV furniture which became popular during the period of 1730 to 1775.
This piece has been custom painted with periwinkle blue, pink and white vertical stripes, embellished with the sweetest floral and bow details. Round white handles.
Good vintage condition - please note that there is some wear to this piece. There is so chips in the paint (refer to photos). Price reflect wear. The wear does work with the style of the piece, as the Drexel French Provincial furniture was designed to look slightly distressed.
