Matching set of Lenox tall salt shaker and pepper mill in the Lido pattern, circa 1960-1970. The elegant set is crafted from ivory porcelain with with beautiful pattern that is based on an ancient Roman design of the type found in Pompeii, with sold brass hardware and 24k gold trim. Hand was only. Markings on bottom.
Lenox Company was founded in 1889 in Trenton, New Jersey, by Walter Scott Lenox. Lido is the name of the pattern, and it was based on an ancient Roman design of the type found in Pompeii.
Both pieces are 8" tall.
Sold in very good, as found vintage condition. There is some wear to the top of the salt shaker - please refer to the photos.
